COURSE NUMBER: 2002 
COURSE DURATION: 3 1/2 Days
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Lecture and hands-on workshops utilize FOCUS, a fourth generation ad-hoc report writing language, to teach students how to generate customized reports from the payroll/personnel NFC databases. Held on a quarterly basis or by special request, the basic course is conducted for the payroll/personnel systems.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Users with a need to begin writing ad-hoc reports against any of the payroll/personnel system databases.
TRAINING LOCATION: NFC, the Customer Support Office in Washington, D.C., or a user site
MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 12

- Ampersand Variables
- Current Date Formats
- Combining Multiple Files
TARGET AUDIENCE: Users with 4 to 6 months experience using techniques taught in Basic FOCUS (Course #2002).
